KubeCon Europe 2025 recap: From Instruqt’s hands-on labs to London adventures

Brittney Blews
Video Producer

KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2025 in London was an unforgettable experience — and for Instruqt, it was an incredible opportunity to connect, share, and learn from our customers who are transforming their approach to training, product adoption, and lead generation with Instruqt.

Over four packed days, we engaged with the cloud-native community at workshops, booth demos, networking events, and even a Chelsea football match with customers. Here's a look back at some of the standout moments.

Our customers showcased Instruqt in action

We were proud to see Instruqt power multiple hands-on workshops and sessions across the event.

Sysdig & Google: Hands-On Cloud Native Security Workshop

At this sold-out workshop, attendees ran Atomic Red tests and played blue team to detect threats and craft custom Falco detection rules — all in real time using Instruqt labs.

SUSE Rancher Day

From Virtualized Clusters to SUSE AI, this was an immersive experience in SUSE’s cloud-native stack. The hands-on labs gave attendees the chance to explore observability, application deployment, and more — in true Instruqt fashion.

VM on Kubernetes Day with Portworx

This event focused on bridging traditional and modern workloads by running virtual machines (VMs) inside Kubernetes clusters. With hands-on labs powered by Instruqt, participants explored KubeVirt, OpenShift Virtualization, and unified storage strategies.

"Working Code Wins" Hackathon Starter Pack (Syntasso & The Access Group)

Abby Bangser and Phill Morton delivered a high-energy tutorial where attendees built a full cloud-native hackathon toolkit using open source tools — from Backstage to OpenTofu — all deployed through Instruqt labs.

Additional highlights from KubeCon Europe 2025

🚀 Seeing Instruqt in action at workshops and booths

One of the biggest highlights? Watching our customers take the stage and run live, hands-on workshops powered by Instruqt. These sessions proved, once again, that when it comes to learning cloud-native tech, nothing beats learning by doing.

We also loved seeing our customers, like Isovalent, Red Hat, and Cloudsmith, showcase the Instruqt platform in action at their booths, where attendees could spin up interactive labs in real-time — no downloads or setup needed.

Whether it was grabbing coffee near ExCeL London or catching the sights on the Thames, London served up the perfect mix of tech and culture. We loved connecting with the community beyond the conference center.

We capped off one of the conference nights with a Chelsea football match — a fun, relaxed way to deepen our relationships with the amazing customers and partners who make what we do possible.

🌍 Why KubeCon matters for the cloud-native community

KubeCon + CloudNativeCon is more than a conference — it’s the heartbeat of the cloud-native ecosystem. It’s where developers, engineers, and product leaders unite to share ideas, celebrate progress, and explore the latest innovations in Kubernetes and CNCF projects.

For fast-moving cloud-native teams, KubeCon offers a front-row seat to what’s next — from emerging tools and integrations to new best practices in platform engineering, security, and observability. It’s a space to ask questions, validate strategies, and connect with the people driving the industry forward.

At the core of all this momentum? Hands-on learning — and that’s where Instruqt shines.

As organizations adopt cloud-native technologies, the need for effective, scalable training grows. That’s why leaders like Sysdig, Portworx, Red Hat, and SUSE rely on Instruqt to power hands-on enablement across onboarding, training, and product demos.

We help software companies turn complex tools into intuitive, browser-based labs that mirror real-world scenarios — no setup or infrastructure required. In a community built on open source and collaboration, Instruqt bridges the gap between software and real-world understanding, accelerating adoption and helping teams go from users to champions.

Thank you, and see you again soon!

A huge thank you to the CNCF, our incredible customers, and our partners for making this year’s event a success. Together, we’re shaping the future of cloud-native education and engagement.
