Are you an AppSec professional or security engineer who wants to learn more about identifying and fixing code vulnerabilities?  Are you a security or software engineering leader who wants to learn the most efficient ways to execute on a DevSecOps program?  Are you familiar with Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST) but have never had the chance to get any real world hands-on experience with the approach?  Do you want to proactively become more knowledgeable around secure coding techniques?

If so, this event hosted by AWS, Contrast Security, Secure Code Warrior and Arctiq will be a can’t miss event. In this three hour workshop you will:

  • Learn what Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST) is, how it works, and its benefits over traditional application security testing methodologies.
  • Discover new and exciting ways to train your developers on secure coding best practices in a fun and engaging way.
  • Hear from current Toronto based experts who use these technologies today and their experience with them.
  • Get hands on experience leveraging Contrast IAST and Secure Code Warrior training to find a vulnerability in code, learn how to fix said vulnerability, and proactively go and remediate the vulnerability, all in an interactive hands on workshop led by AWS, Contrast Security, Secure Code Warrior and Arctiq.

Lunch will be available at the beginning of the session.

‍PLEASE NOTE:  This workshop qualifies for 2 hours of hands-on training for Continuing Professional Credits (CPE).  For CISSP holders this would be in the Application Security Discipline and you will receive acertificate of completion after the workshop.
