New Feature Alert: Introducing Embedded Instruqt Interactive Sandboxes

Today, we’re proud to announce…

Instruqt is Now Embeddable

We’re excited to launch this feature and do our part to help companies and tech professionals super-charge their documentation!  You can play around with the UI, Terminal, and Editor with ease.



With embedded Instruqt, you now can showcase your product without forcing your users to leave the page. How can you do this? We’ve made it very easy. All you have to do is add an HTML snippet to your page. That’s it! Now you can take full advantage of this feature. Embed an interactive sandbox tutorial on your website or documentation page to increase your customer engagement and adoption. Customer success, Support pages, a live demo of your tech on your website, or even an assessment for potential candidates – the sky is the limit!

Market Research

As part of our on-going market research, we’ve been attending important tech conferences to try and understand what people need so we can develop the right features. For the Learning Priorities survey, we collected 167 submissions from tech professionals on-site at ContainerDays in Hamburg and GOTO in Amsterdam. You can see the full survey here.

Question 6 asks people to categorize different ways of learning something new defined by how fun and effective they are. As you can see, over 60% feel that documentation is not fun but effective. While 20% feel that documentation is not effective. This is a clear sign that there is something critically flawed in standard way documentation is produced and consumed. Notice, in contrast, almost 90% believe a hands-on lab is a fun & effective way to learn something new, with less than 10% that believe it is not effective. 

If we put 1 + 1 together, you have to conclude that adding hands-on labs to documentation will help make documentation more fun and effective. That’s why we prioritized delivering this feature.
